What's New: January 2025

First, thank you to Grapple's early beta testers who helped trial the product this month and provided a ton of useful feedback on the overall user experience and caught some gnarly bugs. Grapple will open to an expanded public beta in March.

New features and improvements:

• New data source integrations: Shopify, Mailchimp, PostHog, GitHub
• Email alerts so you know when your data is ready after adding a source
• Easier onboarding so it's obvious how to get started
• This is a big one...support for Grouping by any column in a project!

Grouping by any column means supporting aggregating by joined columns. For example, if you want to group a list of payments per customer metadata (eg: Country) you can do that now. What's cool is these can stack, so you can easily (in seconds) aggregate revenue by country, quarter year, and customer! Try doing that in Tableau in 10 seconds.

• Proper support for Salesforce
• Cleaner PostHog data
• Shopify data semantics for automatically joining across collections
• Project read-only sharing
